Event Series: Supporting Teachers to Accelerate Learning Recovery
Teachers have made heroic efforts in trying to ensure that children continue to learn despite the challenges of the pandemic, and will continue to play a critical role on the front lines as schools reopen. To celebrate teachers on and in the lead up to World Teachers’ Day (Oct 5th), the World Bank Education Global Practice is organizing a series of events to recognize the work of teachers through the pandemic, and spotlight the importance of supporting teachers to lead the global education recovery efforts.
